John worked with this company to identify inefficient manufacturing processes and raw materials sourcing to reduce manufacturing costs. The plan was designed to also increase inventory turn to improve working capital ROI; and develop a new product line to tap into the higher volume, lower-end access control market.

Lighting Systems Manufacturer & Distributor
Manufacturing processes were inflexible to adjust for the production of shifting consumer demand of various lighting models. This contributed to inventory build-up of less popular products (reducing profitability to incentivize sales of these models) and delivery delays (and loss of business) for high demand products.
John Thrasher worked with the company to alter the manufacturing process to produce basic components common to all models, following with a line adjustment production system at this inflection point allowing flexibility to produce models based on demand. The entire system was driven by improved management information systems, order entry, and customer service systems. to drive efficiency and higher profits.

$120 Million Jet Fuel Company
This energy firm provides jet fuel to various airlines at Los Angeles International Airport, but as a result of rapid growth, did not adjust reporting and management dashboards to enable effective financial planning. As a result, their accounts receivable went uncollected for months and accounts payable were often paid twice, resulting in significant cash management problems.
