John Thrasher, Founder, President, and Managing Director of John Thrasher Consulting Group
John Thrasher is a well-educated and experienced strategic team leader. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Financial Administration from Michigan State University, and J.D. legal degree from the Detroit College of Law (at Michigan State University). He has worked at E.I Dupont de Nemours & Company as a financial analyst; at Ford Motor Company doing financial analyses and long-term planning; at various divisions of Atlantic Richfield Company as a director of strategic planning, mergers & acquisitions; and at several banks including Union Bank and Wells Fargo managing corporate financial services and the development of product line revenue enhancements. Thereafter, he started his own business management consulting company, interrupted for five years with a stint as Chief Operating Officer at a solar energy firm for which he drove 470% revenue growth. John is now back leading a team of proven successful consulting executives.
Bob Charney, Marketing & Advertising Consultant
Bob Charney is the marketing consultant working with John Thrasher Consulting Group. He brings over 40 years of experience working at both large and small advertising agencies. He’s worked with clients in nearly every industry including restaurants, automotive, home improvement, banking/financial, supermarkets, consumer electronics, education, other retail & professional service companies, and more. He creates unique marketing, advertising and promotional campaigns for clients based on strategic insights about their business, their customers, their competitors, and their marketplace opportunities and challenges. He writes, designs and produces advertising for all media. Including websites. He evaluates, negotiates and buys all media (including traditional, digital, and social media platforms). And he manages every element of clients' marketing communications designed to build their brand and increase sales.
Graham Mannassi, IT Consultant
A graduate of Bath Technical College in England with a degree in Computer Studies, Graham started his first computer company in 1984 and was engaged by Toshiba to promote a new computer operating system for the UK market. From there, he went on to develop a project management application for Bazer Homes, a clinical trials management application for Besslaar (a division of Dow Corning), and thereafter worked as a systems specialist to handle the roll-out of SCO Unix/Xenix servers for a number of healthcare companies. Graham has also served clients such as K-Swiss, Robb Report Magazine, Public Storage (Canada), American Home 4 Rent, and others. In addition to his diverse background, Graham is particularly skilled at helping companies manage large scale merger and acquisitions including IT migration and integration.
Ian Wilcox, Financial Consultant
Ian Wilcox is a Certified Public Accountant and earned his degree from the University of Southern California. He has held numerous Chief Financial Officer and Operations Management positions at companies like the Packaging Corporation of America, Adaptive Power Solutions, Spring Air Mattress Company, Sport-Fun, Inc. (a toy manufacturing and import company), Troy-CSL Lighting, Inc. His industry experience includes cosmetics, food packaging, various manufacturing industries, renewable energy, trucking, and more...which delivers significant benefits to John Thrasher Consulting Group clients.
